The history of our farm

Trisaierhof – also known as Unterirsay, Trasay-Gut or Trasòar – has a rich history dating back to 1397. For centuries, the farm was run by different families until it came into the possession of the Gasser family in 1666. Since then, it has carried this name and is now considered a historic family farm.

Variety is at the heart of Trisaierhof.

In the past, life on the farm was shaped by hard work, a close connection with nature and self-sufficiency. The fields provided grain and other crops, animals were raised and the vineyards carefully tended. Generation after generation, the farm was passed down, cared for and preserved with great dedication.
This spirit still lives on today. Since 2022, Manuel and his wife Sonia have run the farm, where three generations live together. Alongside Manuel’s parents, Ernst and Monika, and their children Jonas and Felix, they continue to develop Trisaierhof as a vibrant and diverse working farm.
Variety is at the heart of Trisaierhof. Alongside grapes, apples, different fruits, chestnuts, grain, cut flowers and vegetables are grown here. Various small animals are also part of everyday farm life, adding to its lively character.
Today, Trisaierhof combines centuries-old tradition with new life – a place where history remains tangible and guests can experience authentic South Tyrolean farm culture.
With the holiday apartments, another project close to the family’s heart was added in 2026. The Gasser family wants to share this special place with guests, creating spaces where you can not only spend your holiday, but experience authentic life on a South Tyrolean farm and become part of its history.
